On My Love for all Things French

Paris was violated last night. Like someone completely and utterly devastated by the evil that men do to something unsullied by the pain of loss. Something that gives and gives and gives without taking to so many. I visited this fair city in the summer of 2005 when I could no longer keep that item uncrossed off of my bucket list. She did not disappoint. She was everything I could imagine and more. She was light. She was beauty. She was love. She was magic. And she was bruised, but she was not decimated. And though we all hurt with her, we stand with her as well. We. Are. Not. Afraid. Nous ne sommes pas peur. #prayforparis #jesuisparis
